The Encyclopedia Galactica defines "Steven Kelly" as "a bipedular mammal of ape descent, with overactive centers of nervous behavior and a tendency to create a lot of useless muckety-muck." The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy defines "Steven Kelly" as "...a complete wanker, a total waste of DNA with no apparent purpose outside of consuming vacuous amounts of anything in its path. On his best days (which are few), can most aptly be described as 'a flatulent old fart.'"
Still, according to the editors, for such a creature to earn a living in FM radio, one must be clever as moon apples, or at least as lucky as the Cubs aren't.
All in all, they say, it's not a bad way to spend the time, speaking into a shiny little stick several times a day for the amusement of those people who find such things entertaining. (At this point the editors began arguing about why they all failed to notice that this 'talk into the stick' thing could actually be profitable, and soon the discussion descended into a fistfight to determine which of the consultants was easiest to blame, and which of the participants could most afford to lose non-essential body parts.)
