Yep...it's been a while since I last posted a blog, so I welcome myself back with a world wide celebration of sport!!!

THE WORLD CUP!!!

I know what some of you are thinking...the sport where know one EVER scores...and when they do they celebrate like they just saved the world from destruction.  Or you might be thinking...the sport where guys pretend to get hurt and then get carried off the field on a stretcher, only to return to finish the game WITHOUT even limping!!!!

I know, growing up I never would have thought I would enjoy soccer (football) as much!  But every four years, I'm glued to the TV watching the world's favorite sport.  Packed stadiums, crazy fans, the suspense, the drama...EVEN the damn vuvuzela's!!!  It all makes for GREAT sport.

Now when the tournament ends and a new World Cup champ is hoisting this thing:

I will go back to "American" football...college hoops...and the NBA, but in 4 years I'll return to my sports mistress and enjoy a wild and crazy fling, after all I'm married to my favorite sports here in the U.S. and have no plan to leave them for good.

 Enjoy the cup while it's here...I know I will.
