Totally WILD!

December 7th, 1941

I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant, and filled him with a terrible resolve.
-- Yamamoto, after the attack at Pearl Harbor, 1941.

That was a great weekend!

Well, I checked out the car show at the mall over the weekend. There was everything from a stock 1931 Model "A" coupe to a 1967 Corvette coupe complete with a 435 hp 427 and approximately 35,000 miles. I really liked the '32 with the small block and three 2s. It also had white wall cheater slicks and Radirs. Mustang Mafia was in full force, with at least a dozen member cars shined up and looking great!

CAR SHOW THIS WEEKEND!

Washington Square Mall (indoors). All weekend! Several buddies will have cars there. Tom Lantz will have his freshly built SOHC, 4-speed Cyclone, along with some of his other cool toys. All you gearheads know that winter severely curtails pretty much all of our car-related events, so you'd better get out and enjoy this!

It's FRIDAY!

I loves me some FRIDAY! Hope everyone gets to chill and do what/who they wanna do this weekend!

Colder than a witch's toe in a brass boot.

I walked to the car in my sock feet earlier. By the time I got back to the house, I was freezing my BUTT OFF! Is it too much to ask for it to be 70 freakin' degrees or so? I hate winter!

Ode to a Grecian urn...

I had a feeling the title would mess wit yo brain. Well?

Onset of winter and its suckitude.

The lady at the BMV paused for a moment when she came to the section of the license that declared my hair color. "It's kinda purple-y black", I said. She bit her bottom lip and murmured, "I don't think I can put that".

Want $5,000?

Sometime between now and 7 p.m., I will get the next WABX rocker qualified for the $5,000 Christmas Shopping Spree! Listen to Kat every weekday in the 9 a.m. hour. She'll give you the word of the day. You need to know it when I ask you for it! Good luck!

Dio

Ronnie James Dio just announced yesterday that he has stomach cancer. It was found early. We will keep you updated. Please keep Ronnie and his family in your thoughts and prayers. He's given us a lot of awesome music over the years!
